Outdoor Day Camps | Pre-K through 9th Grade

Join Thorne at our Lafayette summer camps for an enriching, fun-filled summer outdoors.

Based at the Lafayette Nature Center (LNC), Thorne campers build confidence, make new friends, and connect deeply with nature through hands-on exploration and play. The Lafayette Nature Center is intentionally designed to spark curiosity, offering experiences not possible in public open spaces—like building forts, harvesting native plants for art projects, and creating dams in custom nature play areas.

Each camp offers a unique experience, with site-based campers learning from engaging guest visitors such as Nature’s Educators and Jeff Kagan of the musical duo Jeff & Paige. When not at the LNC, campers head out to explore some of Boulder County’s best open spaces, including Chautauqua, Roger’s Grove, and more.

From science experiments to muddy discoveries, every day is packed with moments that make summer unforgettable.

Juneteenth Care
9 am-3 pm		 $90 Standard camps will not be offered on 6/19/26. Juneteenth care with drop-off at the LNC is offered with limited availability.
Additional Notes: Camps will be pro-rated for Juneteenth holiday week.
