SCHOLARSHIPS

It is Thorne’s goal that all Boulder County youth, regardless of race, ethnicity, or income, have the opportunity to connect with nature.

Camp Scholarships

Partial and full scholarships are offered each year to help families who couldn’t otherwise afford camp. Full scholarships are available for youth from low-income families or those experiencing crises such as loss of housing, serious illness, or a caregiver’s job loss. We do not assess financial need and trust families to request only the support they require, so we can assist as many campers as possible.

The first scholarship application period opens in mid-December, and applicants will be notified if they’ve received a scholarship by late January. Awards are given on a first-come, first-served basis. If funds remain, a second round will open in spring.

How to Apply

The scholarship application will be available in December.
