Nature’s Workshop
Community Programs & Events
Explore the Lafayette Nature Center with hands-on seasonal workshops and events!
Every landscape holds stories—of the people who've cared for it, the plants and animals who've called it home, and the forces that have shaped it over time. At Lafayette Nature Center, we're writing a new chapter in the story of this land, and we invite your family to be part of it.
Nature Center Saturdays
Join us for Nature Center Saturdays, a year-round educational program that empowers families and community members to become active participants in ecological restoration and conservation, right here at your own Lafayette Nature Center. Through seasonal storytelling and hands-on workshops, participants gain practical skills while deepening their understanding of how to be caring human relatives to the plants and animals we share the world with. All ages are welcome, though the content of the workshop is best suited for participants who are six years old and older.
Each season offers a fresh theme, making every visit a new opportunity to learn, explore, and connect with nature in inspiring ways. Come curious—leave connected!
