Summer Day Camps in Lafayette, Boulder, & Longmont
When:
Weekly June 1st to August 7th.
Camp runs Monday - Friday (except Juneteenth)
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Drop off starts at 8:45 and pickup goes until 3:15.
Where:
Lafayette – Lafayette Nature Center
Boulder – Mountain View United Methodist Church
Longmont – Roger's Grove Park
K - 2nd Grade (Lafayette and Boulder)
Offered at Lafayette to kids entering Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade and at Boulder for kids entering 1st grade (over 6 by the start of camp) or 2nd grade!

Campers will explore diverse ecosystems, play outdoor games, and learn about local wildlife, while building friendships and a lasting connection to nature. This camp will provide campers with programs at their home site and field trips to Roger’s Grove and Golden Ponds.

With a field trip to our Boulder site to join Jeff (of musical duo Jeff & Paige), the Songs & Science experience integrates music, costumes, and singing into the nature exploration we do at Thorne Camps. For those who love Jeff & Paige, songs, science, or silliness, we deliver a delightful day-camp focused on connecting with nature!

At Birds, Bugs & Beyond camp, curious young naturalists will dive into the world of winged wonders and tiny crawlers while learning about the ecosystems they call home. Through hands-on activities, guided nature walks, birdwatching, and creative crafts, campers will uncover the hidden secrets of where they live. Perfect for kids who love to explore, ask questions, and get a little muddy; this camp is where adventure meets discovery!

Discover creativity in the great outdoors at our Art in the Wild camp! Each day, campers explore their home site and surrounding areas, gathering inspiration for their art. Through guided projects, they learn to paint, sculpt, and design using leaves, stones, and clay. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of nature.
